If you’ve got an itch for Mexican food that needs to be scratched, Tacozip in Yeojwadong, Jinhae will fit the bill. Located on a quiet street next to the famous cherry blossom-lined Romance Bridge, this newly opened spot is serving up Mexican inspired fare in a bright, inviting and rustic space.
Offering meals for one as well as platters ideal for small groups, the portion sizes are substantial with heaps of fresh ingredients. For 2 people, the Smothered Burrito set is a perfect amount for sharing. The rich tomato cream sauce is lightly spiced with the perfect amount of heat, and the tacos come piled high with tender beef (substituted for 1,000₩) – ask for extra napkins because things can get messy!
The frozen margaritas are the best way to wash it all down, or choose from their other tequila based cocktails, beer list or non-alcoholic options. Service is quick and efficient even in a packed house. Tacozip is definitely worth a trip to Jinhae – and you can walk off the food coma with a stroll around the quaint neighborhood afterward.
